Being from the Northwest, I don't see lemon trees much, but while in California last week, I took a photo of a lemon tree and some close ups of lemons that I liked and wanted to paint. I kept thinking of the song, "Lemon tree, very pretty, and the lemon flower is sweet, but the fruit of the poor lemon is impossible to eat!" I don't even remember where the song comes from!!
