The photo I used for this painting was for a daily painting challenge from Lisa Daria who is here on Daily Paintworks. I've done three now from her shared photos. The first one I did my way with too many details, and I wasn't happy with it. The second one I decided to try Lisa's approach of color blocking, or more abstract. I liked it better. Today, I only used a 1" flat brush and gave myself one hour. I really liked this one better. What does that mean? I'm not sure yet!!
