I originally did this as a regular oil painting, but I did't like it. The photo reference was from very early spring, so the tree had no leaves. It just didn't work, so today I went over it with a palette knife, and also gave the tree some leaves! I like it a lot better! I originally did this as a regular oil painting, but I did't like it.
